Our Mission

Strong economic and market drivers motivate government and industry to initiate and rapidly implement new strategic programs. These programs should further improve healthcare for the population and contribute to further strengthening the countries international competitiveness.

As such programs typically are quite complex and involve many players from the public and private sector there is a need for an enabler and international coordinator as strong partners from various countries should be involved. This role of creating and implementing public-private partnerships is assumed by the Health Business Platform (HBPS), which is being set up as a private company in Switzerland and to mirror it in the country.

HBPS already has initiated several strategic programs, so-called Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), namely for Clinical Drug Development (SPV 1), Local Drug Production (SPV 2) and Health Care Logistics (SPV 3), DRG Coordination (SPV4). More SPVs are in Discussion and will follow. In each SPV globally leading players in their field are involved and can provide efficient, high-tech solutions resulting in benefits for the whole country and its cititens.

HBP is generating a business in itself through contributions from international partners and from local services in the set-up, facilitation, quality assurance and expansion of the programs / SPVs. The governance of HBP includes board members and advisors from government, academia and industry, assuring quality and an alignment of interests.
